Social life at 8…
I dont ever remember having the type of social life that my 8 yr old has… Once she started school and was making her own friends it seemed as though she needed a appointment book of her own. If shes not over at a friends house over the weekend theres usually one or two here. I went from mom to chauffeur in a matter of minutes. Today alone I had to pick up my 3yr old from her cousins house, then to get my other daughter and her friend cause she spent the night there. Then we went to another friends house to pick her up. I took them to dance class…which I teach, and now they are all here to spend the night. Dinner, Ice cream, a movie.. The usual. Of course while her friends are over at times she thinks that she can act big and bad in front of by talking back or getting some kind of attitude with me. You would think by know that she would realize that when she does that I just embarrass her in front of them. Just think, shes only 8…I cant imagine what is going to be like when shes a teenager. I just need to enjoy my baby cause I know its not going to last forever. I just wonder if shes going to be like her big sister… Like I say, monkey see, monkey do!
